Medical-Surgical Nurse – Travel Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment. You will work the day shift in a fast-paced med-surg environment, with charge responsibilities when needed.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week)
• Start Date: Flexible Mondays
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Scrubs: Navy blue

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Surgical nursing experience
• Wound care experience
• PCA/Epidural administration experience
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Georgia or compact state RN license in hand

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a med-surg unit
• Assume charge nurse duties when requested
• Manage wounds, PCA pumps, and epidural medications
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Assignment Details

• 50-mile travel radius (non-local travelers only)
• Monday start dates available throughout the assignment window
