Medical-Surgical Nurse – 13-Week Assignment

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a 13-week assignment in Atlanta, GA. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) on the day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), with the flexibility to start any Monday.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a medical-surgical unit
• Manage wound care and monitor patients with PCA/epidural pain management
• Assume charge nurse duties as needed
• Deliver compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Surgical nursing background
• Demonstrated wound care competency
• Experience managing patients with PCA/epidural analgesia
• Current BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• GA or compact nursing license in hand
• Navy blue scrubs required

Additional Information

• Guaranteed hours throughout the assignment
• Must be willing to relocate within a 50-mile radius of Atlanta (no local commute arrangements)
