Emergency Department Nursing – 3-Month Contract

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work day shifts in a fast-paced ED environment, caring for acute and critical patients across the full spectrum of emergency presentations.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (AM 3 × 12-hour shifts)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Location: Atlanta, GA (within 50-mile radius)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026

Requirements

• Current Georgia or compact nursing license
• ACLS certification (required)
• NIHSS certification (required)
• Minimum 18 months of ED experience within the past 3 years
• Guaranteed hours

What You'll Do

You'll provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency setting, triaging patients, assisting with diagnostics and procedures, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver quality emergency nursing care.
