This 13-week seasonal contract places you on a dedicated Orthopedic/Neuro unit in Denver, CO, caring for post-surgical patients following total joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine procedures. The unit is a Magnet-designated facility recognized multiple times as a best place to work, with a culture known for strong teamwork, positive outcomes, and welcoming travel staff.

Schedule & Contract Details

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Start Date: October 12, 2026

Clinical Scope

Post-operative orthopedic and neurosurgical patients
Procedures: total joint replacements (knee, hip, shoulder), spine surgery
Equipment: immobilizers, braces, cold therapy units
Supportive staffing includes charge RN, techs, and unit secretary

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of current Orthopedic RN or Medical/Surgical RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
BLS (required)
ACLS (preferred)
Ortho/Spine experience preferred
