Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Shift & Schedule
- Day shift, Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- 13-week contract
- Start date: September 21, 2026
About the Role
Join the nuclear medicine department at the facility to perform diagnostic imaging and therapeutic procedures. You'll work with patients across all age groups, handling imaging protocols including 3-phase bone scans, exercise/rest studies, gastric emptying, HIDA scans, PET scans, uptake scans, and ventilation/perfusion studies. Responsibilities include starting and maintaining IVs, proper handling and disposal of radioactive materials, and adhering to isolation precautions.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience
- Current ARRT N, CNMT, or NMTCB certification
- Valid compact state license at time of submission
- Strong technical skills with imaging protocols and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Scheduling & Flexibility
- Float required to outpatient departments as needed
- Call coverage may be required (details to be discussed with manager)
- You may be asked to work at nearby sister facilities; flexibility is essential
- Commitment to work 3 of 5 designated holidays required
Support & Collaboration
Work alongside IV teams, interpretation services, radiology staff, lift teams, rapid response teams, and pharmacy.
