Critical Care Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Critical Care Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a 13-week contract position working the night shift.

Schedule & Location

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
Location: Lithonia, GA
Travel Radius: 50-mile radius

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications
Georgia state license or active compact license
Travel nursing experience preferred

About the Role

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing acutely ill and injured patients. Your clinical expertise in critical care assessment, emergency interventions, and patient stabilization will be essential as you work alongside an interdisciplinary team.

A self-directed, adaptable nurse comfortable working independently during night shifts in a high-volume environment. You should be comfortable with the pace and unpredictability of emergency nursing and ready to support your team during busy periods.
