Cardiac Cath Lab | Travel Position | Smyrna, TN

This 13-week contract places you in an active Cardiac Cath Lab performing a broad range of diagnostic and interventional procedures. The lab operates with a close-knit team and supportive, hands-on leadership committed to departmental excellence.

Shift & Schedule

4×10-hour shifts, 07:00–17:30, Monday–Friday with variable days
8 weekday call days and up to 6 weekend call days per month
36 guaranteed hours per week

Clinical Scope

The lab performs left and right heart catheterizations, PCIs (Type A, B1, and some B2 lesions), and advanced interventional work including Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, Impella support, intra-aortic balloon pump, FFR, and IVUS. Candidates with IR, Specials, and vascular procedure experience are a strong fit.

Float Requirements

Radiologic Techs with additional modality experience may float to Imaging (IR, X-ray, CT, MRI)
RCIS may float to IR, Specials, or endovascular lab
RNs may cover cardiology patients in non-invasive, CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine
No floating to other hospital departments

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
Experience in a community hospital or mixed IR/Cath Lab setting preferred
RN licensure, ARRT, or RCIS required
RN competencies: monitoring, circulating, sedation administration
Tech competencies: monitoring, scrubbing

Dress Code

Red top and bottom scrubs, or black top with red bottoms; ceil blue also accepted.
