Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in the Nuclear Medicine department. This is a day shift position working Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 x 10-hour shifts with guaranteed 36 hours per week).
Clinical Scope
You'll perform a wide range of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging procedures across three distinct work areas:
- PET imaging: Cardiac, oncology, and neurology studies; rubidium stress tests; PSMA, NET, and sarcoidosis imaging
- PET/CT: General oncology and specialized cardiac protocols
- Conventional Nuclear Medicine: Bone, thyroid, lung, and endocrine scans
The department operates with 4–5 technologists per day shift, providing a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (ARRT [N] or CNMT)
- Minimum 6 months current Nuclear Med Tech experience
- BLS Certification
- Preferred: PET experience, outpatient stress testing, or cardiac imaging background
Schedule & On-Call
- No weekend on-call obligations
- Rotating on-call responsibilities weekends, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Rotation across three work areas
