Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This travel opportunity is in a specialized Cardiovascular and Vascular Surgery Step-Down Unit (CSSU) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The unit focuses on high-acuity cardiovascular and vascular surgery patients, with a dedicated central monitoring station and mobility team support.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week (12 shifts/month)
• 4 weekend shifts per month
• 36 guaranteed hours/week
• Schedule is built around approved time-off requests

Float Policy

Floating is rotation-based; travelers float first.

Clinical Scope & Procedures

• Vasoactive medication titration (levophed, phenylephrine, dopamine, dobutamine)
• Telemetry monitoring via central station
• Chest tube and arterial line removal
• Temporary pacing
• Pre-op preparation for cardiovascular surgery
• LNA support (1–2 per shift)

Required Skills & Certifications

• Strong telemetry skills
• Experience titrating vasoactive drips
• Chest tube experience
• ACLS and BLS (required)

Preferred Skills (priority consideration)

• Arterial line management
• Flo-Trac monitoring
• Temporary pacing experience
