ICU Nurse – Travel Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week travel contract in Asheville, NC. This is a contractor replacement role offering schedule stability and the opportunity to make a direct clinical impact in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: August 31, 2026

Clinical Environment

You'll deliver care to acutely ill patients in an ICU setting, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to manage complex medical and surgical cases. The role involves standard ICU responsibilities including patient monitoring, medication administration, vital sign assessment, and family communication.

Requirements

• Current RN license (active in North Carolina)
• BLS certification required
• ICU experience preferred
• Ability to work the 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM schedule
