OR / Perioperative Nurse — Traveling Contract | Winchester, MA

This is a 13-week contract opportunity in an operating room setting with a strong focus on orthopedic, spine, and robotic-assisted procedures.

Schedule

3 × 12-hour rotating shifts (day/evening), 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
72 guaranteed hours biweekly
Weekend rotation approximately every 6 weeks
Call as needed
One holiday required (summer or winter)
1 week of orientation

Clinical Scope

The OR team handles a diverse surgical caseload with an emphasis on orthopedic and spine procedures as well as robotic-assisted surgery. Candidates must be fully competent in both scrub and circulator roles.

Requirements

Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA)
Strong background in ortho, spine, and robotics
Ability to scrub and circulate
CNOR certification preferred

Additional Details

In-house scrubs provided (no outside scrubs permitted)
Float not required
Local candidates will not be considered
Candidates must have been separated from the hiring health system for a minimum of 6 months prior to submission
