Surgical Circulator & Scrub – OR
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced surgical circulator and/or scrub for a 13-week assignment in the operating room. This is a fast-paced environment managing high-acuity surgical cases.
Schedule & Hours
- 10-hour evening shifts, 40 hours/week
- 13-week contract
- Up to 2 weekends per month (call or working shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a)
- 30-minute on-call response time
- Short call shift once weekly
- Guaranteed 72 hours biweekly
Clinical Scope
You'll circulate and/or scrub for a diverse surgical specialty mix including:
- General surgery, orthopedic trauma, and neurosurgery
- Spine, ENT (head & neck focus), and urology
- Robotic-assisted procedures
- Kidney and liver transplants
- GYN and organ procurement
Scrub skills are highly preferred.
Location & Float
Primarily based at the West Main campus; occasional float to East campus or Interventional Radiology OR. No routine float required.
Requirements
- BLS certification
- Current surgical nursing license
- Must reside outside 50 miles of the facility
- Cannot have worked at this facility within the past 6 months (per diem or permanent)
- Orientation begins weekly (Mondays)
- All time-off requests must be submitted at application
