Radiologic Technologist – Mammography

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Radiologic Technologist with mammography expertise to join the radiology department on a 13-week travel contract. You'll work day shift in a 2-room outpatient setting, supporting diagnostic and screening procedures for adult and geriatric patients.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (5×8 hours)
• Location: Santa Rosa, CA
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekend Requirement: No
• 4×10 block scheduling available for the right candidate

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year radiologic technologist experience
• Valid California state license (compact license required at time of submission)
• ARRT M*, ARRT R, and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in:
• 3-D and digital mammography
• Screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Stereotactic biopsy and needle localization
• Fine needle aspiration
• Hologic 3D and Affirm BX systems
• Radiation safety and universal precautions

Additional Requirements

• First-time travelers welcome (with relevant experience)
• Two professional references required, covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year's Eve/Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process

Scope

Approximately 20 patient visits per day in an outpatient radiology setting. You may be asked to float to nearby sister facilities as needed.
