Interventional Rad Tech Radiology

Interventional Radiology Tech | La Jolla, CA | 13-Week Contract

This travel opportunity is for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist working in a fast-paced IR suite performing neuro and vascular procedures — both scrubbing and circulating.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts (06:45–17:30)
• Call requirement: Approximately 10 calls per month, including 1 primary and 1 secondary call per week, plus one full weekend (Friday–Sunday) of call per month

Clinical Scope

• Neuro and vascular interventional procedures — must be proficient scrubbing and circulating
• High-acuity IR caseload requiring strong independent clinical judgment

Required Certifications & Credentials

• AHA BLS
• CRT (California Radiologic Technology certification)
• ARRT with radiographic fluoroscopy permit
• California license in hand at time of submission (Temp or Perm accepted; no EMSA)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of concurrent experience in interventional radiology
• Prior travel experience required
• Electronic health record experience required within the last 6 months of work history

Additional Details

• Contract length: 13 weeks | Start: October 2026
• Maximum 7 days RTO; no new RTO requests accepted after submission
• Non-local candidates only: must reside beyond 100 miles of the facility
• Pre-start orientation modules required (non-billable, 8 hours); must be completed before the documentation due date
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
