Interventional Radiology Tech — Peripheral & Neuro IR | Columbia, SC

This travel assignment places you in an active Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology department serving a diverse patient population across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The department manages 15–20 cases daily across three procedure rooms, with a strong focus on high-acuity neuro and peripheral vascular interventions.

Shift & Schedule

• Days | Monday–Friday | 40 hours/week
• Varied start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM (8-hour shifts)
• On-call required after 5:00 PM on weekdays and weekends; call rotates among 6–8 staff members

Contract Details

• 13-week contract (with 26-week option)
• Start date: September 28, 2026
• Orientation held on Mondays; pre-assignment modules required within 48 hours of contract start

Required Credentials

• ARRT (R) — Radiography
• ARRT (VI) preferred
• BLS
• South Carolina Radiography State License
• Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience

Clinical Scope — Neuro IR experience is required, including:

• Stroke thrombectomy
• Aneurysm coiling and stenting
• AVM embolization
• Carotid stenting
• Port, PICC, and dialysis catheter placement
• Peripheral and body angiography

Additional Details

• Float to other units/campuses may be required based on census needs
