Inpatient Rehabilitation RN — Nights | Greensboro, NC

13-Week Contract | 3x12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

This inpatient rehabilitation unit provides specialized care for adult and geriatric patients recovering from neurological and complex surgical events. Patient population includes CVA, traumatic and acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, general debility, and post-operative cases (stroke, aneurysm, surgical).

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every third weekend required; holidays as needed
• Float required across multiple campuses

Clinical Responsibilities

• Vital sign monitoring, medication reconciliation, and laboratory result interpretation
• Dressing changes and aseptic/sterile procedure tray setup
• Specimen collection including phlebotomy, capillary draws, UA clean catch, and throat cultures
• Telephone and pharmacy/refill coordination
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and EKG competency

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Acute care rehab experience preferred
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS required
• EKG compliance exam required (two attempts allowed)
• Prior EMR experience required
• No candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
• No open background check cases permitted
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks | Start: September 28, 2026
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Any requested time off must be submitted with the application

Interdisciplinary Support Available: IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, pharmacy, social services, radiology, rapid response, and interpretation services.
