Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical telemetry float pool. You'll provide direct patient care across multiple units, bringing flexibility and clinical judgment to a dynamic environment.

Schedule & Commitment

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: As required
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Early starts available for candidates in good standing

Float Expectations

You must be willing to float to other units and hospitals as needed. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in varied clinical settings and enjoy working with different patient populations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing
• Valid Registered Nurse license (State of Alabama or Compact; no temporary licenses)
• NURSYS listing
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification
• Minimum 2 years specialty experience (18 months considered if holding highest professional license with 1 year recent specialty experience)

Clinical Details

• Patient-facing, direct-care role
• Medical-surgical telemetry focus
• Dress code: Solid navy scrubs
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
