Surgical and Endoscopy RN

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its surgical and endoscopy units on a day shift schedule. This 13-week contract offers a dynamic operating room and procedural environment with a collaborative team-based culture.

Shift & Schedule

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
On-Call: Required; 15+ calls per month and holiday coverage expected
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Weekend Work: Yes

Unit Details

You'll support 10 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy suites performing a full range of surgical procedures (excluding transplants). The unit handles high-acuity cases including vascular, neuro, and advanced procedural work. You'll work alongside Charge RNs, CSTs, anesthesia technicians, orderlies, and equipment technicians in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Requirements

License & Certification: Current RN license; BLS required
Experience: Minimum 5 years as an RN
Preferred Qualifications: Neuro/ECRP or vascular/advanced procedure experience
