Travel RN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU) | Wichita, KS

Nights | 13-Week Contract

This night-shift CCU position focuses on high-acuity cardiac patients requiring close monitoring and complex interventional support. The unit is a dedicated coronary care environment where nurses manage critically ill patients with a low nurse-to-patient ratio.

Shift & Schedule

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
36 guaranteed hours per week
Contract duration: 13 weeks
Anticipated start: August 24, 2026

Clinical Scope

Nurses on this unit routinely manage:

Intra-aortic balloon pumps
Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
Therapeutic hypothermia
Cardioversion
Heart catheterization care
Central line management
Vasoactive and cardiac medication drips

Required Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of current acute care ICU experience
Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
