Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Wichita, KS

This is a 16-week travel contract in a busy Emergency Room setting in Wichita, KS, with a start date of September 27, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Unit Details

The ER manages a diverse, acute patient population across the full spectrum of emergency presentations. Candidates should be comfortable with fast-paced, high-acuity care and independent clinical decision-making.

Candidates must be willing to float to like units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.

Required Credentials (at Submission)

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• Skills checklist
• 2 professional references

Onboarding Requirements

• EKG exam and specialty exam
• Core competency assessment
• Color vision screening
• Background check, drug screen (12-panel), EPLS/OFAC clearance
• Education and employment verification

Immunizations & Health

• COVID-19, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Tdap
• TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA) and fit test
