Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 16-week contract assignment in Wichita, KS. This is a night shift role offering stability and predictable scheduling.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend
- No on-call requirements
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Clinical Details
You'll work in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing acute and urgent patient presentations. Flexibility to float to similar units on the same campus or other campuses within Wichita is expected.
Requirements
- Active RN license (verification required)
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and competency assessments, including EKG and specialty exams
- Standard immunizations and health screening (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, influenza, Tdap, varicella, TB clearance)
- Criminal background check and compliance screening
- Valid driver's license/state ID
