Trauma Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Asheville, NC

This 13-week night shift contract places you on a fast-paced Trauma Telemetry unit in Asheville, NC, caring for a complex, high-acuity patient population. The unit supports patients requiring close cardiac monitoring, with responsibilities including patient preparation for endoscopy, interventional radiology, and surgical procedures.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 18:45–07:15 (7-night shift format)
• Weekend requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all count as weekend shifts on nights)
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Estimated start: September 28, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Medical telemetry monitoring of cardiac and trauma patients
• Pre-procedural patient preparation (endoscopy, IR, OR)
• Collaborative care with CNAs, charge RNs, and unit secretarial support

Float Requirements

May be asked to float to sister Med-Surg units within the facility.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS certification (required)
• Medical Telemetry experience (required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge Nurse or leadership experience
• BSN
• CMSRN certification

Dress Code

Navy blue top and bottom, white top with navy blue bottom, or all white.
