Contract RN – Antepartum/Labor and Delivery

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a compassionate RN for a 13-week contract assignment in the Antepartum unit. You'll work nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with rotating weekends and no on-call requirements.

About the Unit

This women's health unit specializes in antepartum care for expectant mothers. You'll manage patients across a range of acuity levels, from routine monitoring to high-risk pregnancies. Common clinical activities include non-stress testing, hyperemesis management, magnesium and heparin drip administration, and insulin management. Patient ratios typically run 3:1 to 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on acuity.

What We're Looking For

• Required: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP certifications
• Preferred: Prior Labor and Delivery or Antepartum experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Practical Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, rotating weekends
• Scrubs: Navy blue
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
