RN – MICU

Location: Dallas, TX

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Role:

The facility's MICU manages high-acuity patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention. You'll care for patients across a range of critical conditions, collaborating with an experienced nursing team and intensivist physicians.

Clinical Scope:

You'll perform or assist with central line placements, intubations, cardioversions, dialysis catheter placements, thoracentesis, and other ICU procedures. Assignments are made according to patient acuity and your skill level. Floating to other units occurs as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of MICU or MSICU experience (required)
• Active RN license (Texas) – temporary licenses not accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• CCRN preferred

Dress Code:

Royal blue scrubs. Clean, healthy nails (no artificial, gel, or extensions). Hair must be neat, clean, and pulled back if shoulder-length or longer. Body art should be covered when possible. Visible piercings other than earlobes are not permitted.

Staffing Model:

No call requirements. Weekend rotation expected. Attendance policies apply company-wide.
