Registered Nurse
Emergency Department RN — Night Shift | Springfield, VT | 13-Week Contract
This travel RN opportunity is in an emergency department that operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing care across the full spectrum of emergency presentations. Upon arrival, patients are triaged by ED nurses to assess acuity and determine appropriate treatment pathways. The unit is fully staffed around the clock and manages a steady, active patient volume.
Shift Details
- 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-hour nights | 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required if scheduled
- Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
- 48-hour guarantee is not available
Holiday Requirement
Travelers must be available to work at least two of the following holiday blocks (if scheduled):
- Thanksgiving Day, the following Friday, and weekend
- Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend
- New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend
Requirements
- 2+ years of current ED experience in a hospital setting (required)
- Minimum 3 months travel nursing experience (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Vermont RN license or Compact license (required)
- Own vehicle required
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
Required Certifications — All Must Be in Hand at Time of Submission
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- PALS (American Heart Association)
- TNCC
