Labor & Delivery RN with OR Circulator Experience

About the Role

Join the labor and delivery team at the facility in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetric setting. You'll manage labor, delivery, and postpartum care while maintaining OR circulator responsibilities as needed. This role is ideal for an experienced L&D nurse seeking variety and professional growth in a high-risk obstetrics environment.

Shift & Schedule

  • 12-hour rotating shifts: 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
  • Every other weekend and holiday off
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 16-week contract

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 2 recent years of L&D RN experience
  • OR circulator experience required
  • Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Must pass a telemetry competency test on Day 1 (85% or higher)
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • High-risk obstetrics experience preferred

Certifications (Required)

  • Current BLS certification
  • Current NRP certification (all lessons completed; must remain valid throughout assignment)
  • Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification (AWHONN preferred)
  • Dysrhythmia/Telemetry interpretation course preferred

The Unit

The department operates 9 labor rooms, 2 operating and recovery rooms, and 5 rooms, managing approximately 3,000 deliveries annually. You'll work with a collaborative team focused on safe, evidence-based maternal and neonatal care.
