ER RN – Critical Care (Night Shift)

Position Overview

Shift & Contract Details

• Schedule: 4x12-hour nights (19:00–07:00)
• Contract: 26 weeks
• Start Date: September 15, 2026
• Weekend Coverage: 6.5 weekend shifts required per contract
• Location: El Paso, TX

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years acute care hospital experience
• Current RN license (Texas or multi-state accepted; pending licenses considered)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required prior to start
• Travel experience preferred

Clinical Scope

You'll work in a busy ED managing patients of all ages (neonates through geriatric). Clinical skills include arterial line management, central line care, mechanical ventilation support, hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, procedural sedation, IV vasopressor administration, and trauma/stroke patient management. The facility provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, radiology, and rapid response teams.

• One holiday RTO request may be submitted with approval
• 12 hours of onboarding modules required pre-start
• High Spanish-speaking patient population; translator services available
• Orientation: 36 hours
• No block scheduling
