Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its molecular imaging department on a full-time basis. This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
  • 8:00 AM–4:30 PM or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • No weekends or major holidays

Requirements

Education & Credentials:

  • Bachelor of Science in a scientific field with a certificate in Nuclear Medicine Technology from an accredited program, OR Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology plus 2 years of experience
  • Current Nuclear Medicine registration (NMTCB or ARRT(NM))
  • At least one advanced certification current and valid: NMTCB(PET), NMTCB(NCT), ARRT(CT), or ARRT(MR)
  • Current Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or CPR certification
  • Certification must be obtained by the end of the first year if not current at hire

Experience & Skills:

  • Preferred experience in molecular/nuclear imaging (SPECT/CT/PET/MR/optical fusion imaging)
  • Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology
  • Proficiency with Nuclear Medicine Information Systems (NMIS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), and Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
  • Excellent time management, analytical, and communication skills
  • Team-oriented with commitment to safety and professional standards

Preferred:

  • NIH Human Subjects Protection in Research certification
