Emergency Department RN — Evening/Night Shift | Utica, NY

This is a long-term contract opportunity in a high-volume Emergency Department managing a broad spectrum of adult and pediatric patients, including newborns through geriatrics. The unit treats complex, high-acuity presentations including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure.

• Shift: 14:30–03:00 (block scheduling not guaranteed)
• Guaranteed hours: 36/week
• Contract length: 110 weeks
• Scrub color: Navy Blue
• Floating required

Unit Scope

The ED encompasses acute care, , super track, trauma, a clinical decision unit, and a psychiatric section. Clinicians should be comfortable across diverse patient populations and acuity levels.

Charge capability is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of ED experience, including some pediatric exposure
• Travel nursing experience required
• Active NY RN license (verified via NURSYS); all active RN licenses required
• Current certifications — all must be in hand at submission:
• AHA BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC *(required)*
• Specialty skills checklist matching ED scope
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
