Critical Care Nurse – Med Surg Telemetry

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a 6-month long-term assignment in the Med Surg Telemetry unit. This is an ideal opportunity to provide continuity of care during the winter season while maintaining flexibility with your schedule.

Shift & Schedule

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
• Schedule: Every other weekend, every other holiday
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Clinical Scope

You'll care for patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight, managing acuity levels appropriate to a Med Surg Telemetry environment. Your role includes patient assessments, medication administration, monitoring of cardiac rhythms, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Active Nursing License (License/Certificate Verification required)
• Specialty Competency Testing upon onboarding
• Standard credentials: drug screen, background check, education verification, reference checks (EPLS, GSA/OIG, NSO)
• Required immunizations: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap (optional), Influenza (optional)
• TB screening (2 Step PPD or IGRA)
• Physical/Health Statement and Fit Test
• Confidentiality, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest documentation
