RN – PACU

Location: Greeley, CO

Shift: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Duration: 13 weeks

About the Role

You'll provide immediate post-operative and post-anesthesia care in a busy PACU and pre-operative setting. You'll assess and monitor patients recovering from surgery, manage airway patency, hemodynamic stability, pain, nausea, and post-operative symptoms. Your responsibilities include recognizing and responding to post-anesthesia complications (respiratory depression, hemorrhage, hypotension) and collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and the broader care team to determine patient readiness for transfer or discharge.

Requirements

• Active RN license (state or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certification required; PALS required
• 1+ years of PACU or critical care experience
• Experience with airway management and post-anesthesia recovery protocols
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) preferred

Schedule & Call

• One 24-hour call per month (Saturday or Sunday, 0700–0700)
• Two weeknight calls per month (1900–0700)
• Holiday rotation per unit policy
• Float to other PACU/pre-op locations as needed
