OR RN – Adult Surgical Services | San Antonio, TX

13-Week Contract | Days | 36 Hours Guaranteed

This adult OR position supports a high-volume, multi-specialty surgical program with a broad range of procedures and a strong commitment to robotic surgery. The team provides 24-hour in-house coverage, with a dedicated overnight team ensuring continuous surgical support.

Clinical Scope

The OR performs procedures across a wide range of specialties, including:

• General Surgery
• Surgical Oncology
• GYN and GYN Oncology
• Orthopedics
• Neurosurgery
• ENT
• Plastics and Burn
• Urology
• Podiatry
• Colorectal Surgery

Robotic surgery experience is strongly preferred — the program has an active and expansive robotics presence.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating on-call: approximately two 8-hour call shifts per month
• Guaranteed hours: 36/week
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS required
• Solid OR clinical experience; candidates without demonstrated OR skills will not be considered
• Robotic-assisted surgery experience preferred

• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Contract duration: 91 weeks (approximately 13 weeks per renewal cycle; confirm exact terms with your recruiter)
