Emergency Department RN — McKinney, TX

Nights | 13-Week Contract | ASAP Start Preferred

This Emergency Department opportunity is a night shift (18:00–06:00) position in McKinney, TX, offering 36 guaranteed hours per week over a 13-week contract.

Unit Overview

The ED manages a broad range of acute and emergent presentations across adult and pediatric populations. Floats may include holding admitted patients within the ED while awaiting inpatient placement.

Schedule

• Nights: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• No on-call requirement

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings high-caliber patient experience skills, is high energy, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment. A quick start date and minimal PTO requests are preferred.

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Additional Requirements

• Prior experience with the facility's electronic health record system is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage a standard ED patient assignment
