Registered Nurse – MICU

Position Details

• Location: Dallas, TX
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, weekend rotating
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
• Floating: As needed

About the Role

You'll care for critically ill patients in the medical ICU, working assignments based on acuity and your skill level. The unit manages a range of high-acuity conditions and performs advanced procedures including central line placements, thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and other ICU interventions.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years MICU or MSICU experience
• Active RN license (Texas; temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Preferred

• CCRN certification

Dress Code & Appearance Standards

• Royal blue scrubs
• Clean, healthy nails; no artificial nails, gel, or acrylic
• Hair neat and clean; must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Body art covered when feasible
• Visible piercings (other than ears) not permitted
• Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed

No call requirements. This is a straightforward 13-week assignment in an active critical care environment.
