Registered Nurse

Operating Room (OR) Nurse — Surgery Center | Syracuse, NY

Contract: 13 weeks | Start Date: September 14, 2026

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (8-hour shifts; occasional late days possible)

This position is based in a busy outpatient surgery center performing a high volume of procedures across multiple surgical specialties. The unit operates four ORs, Monday through Friday, serving both pediatric and adult patients.

Surgical Specialties Performed:

• General surgery
• Genitourinary (GU) procedures
• ENT
• Gynecology (GYN)
• Endoscopy
• Colorectal

The unit includes acute and advanced recovery beds, supporting a full range of ambulatory surgical cases in a structured, weekday-only schedule — no nights or weekends.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted New York RN license
• BLS certification (current)
• Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience
• Strong scrub and/or circulating skills across varied surgical specialties

Preferred:

• Prior travel nursing experience
