EEG Technologist – Neurology

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an EEG Technologist to perform a variety of electroencephalographic and neurological testing procedures for both inpatients and outpatients. You'll work in a neurology-focused department alongside physicians and support staff dedicated to patient care and diagnostic excellence.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: Days, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
• Hours: 40 hours per week (5 × 8-hour shifts)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: September 22, 2026
• Location: Concord, MA

Key Responsibilities

• Perform standard EEGs, Auditory and Visual Evoked Responses, and Median-Tibial Somatosensory testing
• Conduct "Full Battery" testing as prescribed by the clinical team
• Educate patients and families on testing procedures
• Maintain and assess quality of testing equipment
• Handle scheduling, billing, and report filing
• Participate in continuous quality improvement and departmental training
• Support patient rights, privacy, and dignity

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Registered EEG Technologist (R. EEG T) certification required
• Registered Evoked Potential Technologist (R. EP T) certification required
• Minimum 1 year of patient care or healthcare experience
• Travel experience required

Preferred Qualifications

• 3–5 years of EEG lab experience
• Graduate of a two-year ABRET-recognized EEG/Evoked Potential program
• High school diploma or equivalent
