Cardiac Telemetry – Pre/Post Procedural RN (Charge Experience Required)

Greensboro, NC | Days | 13-Week Contract

This is a pre/post procedural unit supporting patients from the Cath Lab, EP Lab, Peripheral Vascular Lab, and Interventional Radiology. The unit also receives Same Day PCI patients. Nurses on this unit are responsible for managing a diverse adult patient population with varying acuity levels, including telemetry monitoring where indicated.

Schedule

3x12-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
Monday through Friday only — no weekends or holidays
Start date: September 21, 2026

Clinical Requirements

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers welcome
Prior Charge RN experience required
Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills required; EKG compliance exam must be passed (2 attempts allowed)
Proficiency in arterial and venous access management, including radial, ulnar, and femoral sites
Understanding of hemostasis monitoring and post-procedure access site care
Familiarity with TR Band, Femostop, and similar hemostatic compression devices

Certifications & Compliance

ACLS and BLS required
Active RN license must be in hand at time of submission
Electronic health record experience required
No open background cases permitted
Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; current driver's license required for address verification
Third-party education verification required

Additional Details

Floating to other campus locations may be required
One pre-approved time off window; RTO must be submitted with initial application
Orientation includes unit-based modules (non-billable, approximately 2–4 hours)
