Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its med/surg telemetry float pool. This is a 13-week contract position working nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (your choice)
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays as assigned
• Must be willing to float to other units and facilities

Requirements

• Current RN license: State of Alabama or Compact (active license only; temporary licenses not accepted)
• Associate degree in nursing
• AHA BLS certification
• Red Cross certification
• Minimum 2 years med/surg or telemetry experience (18 months considered with 1 year recent, direct specialty experience)

What to Expect

You'll work in a med/surg telemetry environment, monitoring patients on continuous cardiac monitoring while delivering acute care. Float assignments mean flexibility across units and occasional facility rotations. Wear solid navy scrubs.
