Travel RN – Orthopedics | Denver, CO | 13-Week Contract

This orthopedic/neurology unit cares for surgical patients recovering from total joint replacements (knee, hip, and shoulder) and spine procedures. The unit runs a day-shift schedule of 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with 36 guaranteed hours per week.

Unit Overview

• Ortho/neuro surgical floor managing post-operative recovery and rehabilitation
• Common procedures: total joint arthroplasty (knee, hip, shoulder) and spine surgery
• Equipment includes immobilizers, braces, and cold therapy modalities
• Staffing includes a charge RN, volume-based RN coverage, 1–2 techs, and a unit secretary on days

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of current Ortho RN or Med/Surg experience in an acute hospital setting
• BLS required
• ACLS and dedicated Ortho/Spine experience preferred and given priority consideration
