Cath Lab Recovery RN — Asheville, NC

Cardiac Cath Lab | 13-Week Contract

This Cath Lab Recovery unit preps and recovers patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and structural heart procedures. The position offers a focused, procedural environment with no weekly call and no weekend requirements.

Shift & Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Two shifts: 06:00–18:30 | One shift: 08:00–20:30
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: July 6, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Sheath pulls and groin management
• Radial access site management
• Cardioversions and moderate sedation recovery
• General anesthesia recovery
• CNA support available on unit

Required Experience & Certifications

• ICU or cardiac step-down background required; prior Cath Lab or EP Lab experience strongly preferred
• Competency in sheath pulls and moderate sedation
• Experience with cardiac diagnoses, with emphasis on procedural and structural heart patients
• ACLS required

Float Policy

• Rarely floated; flex adjustments based on volume only

Dress Code

• Green hospital-issued scrubs
