Telemetry Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This is an extension opportunity.
Requirements
- Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 18 months of acute care nursing experience
- Strong mechanical ventilation experience
- Experience with tracheostomies and chest tubes
- Travel nursing background preferred
- Ability to interpret telemetry and basic NIHSS assessments
The Role
You'll provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients requiring continuous surveillance. Your responsibilities will include ventilator management, trach and chest tube care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team during night hours.
