Emergency Room Nurse – Behavioral Health Focus

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Room is seeking a nurse for a 13-week contract to join a high-volume behavioral health unit. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 4 x 12 hours) with every other weekend required. Start date: September 27, 2026.

Clinical Environment

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting with a high volume of behavioral health patients. You'll work alongside an experienced team delivering assessment, stabilization, and supportive care in an acute care environment.

Requirements

• Current RN license (verification via Nursys required for submission)
• Driver's License/State ID
• Immunizations: MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Influenza Vaccine
• TB screening: 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Gold)
• Fit test and health statement completion
• Criminal background check clearance
• Two professional references
