This NICU opportunity is based in Denver, Colorado, offering night shift coverage on a well-established neonatal unit known for its strong team culture and commitment to family-centered care.
Unit Overview
The NICU cares for neonatal patients across a range of acuity levels, with a focus on evidence-based practice and individualized family involvement. Common equipment and interventions include incubators, non-invasive positive pressure ventilation (NIPPV), high-flow and low-flow nasal cannula, peripheral IVs, some central lines, and gastric tubes. Typical procedures performed on the unit include circumcisions and retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) exams.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: September 16, 2026
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current, acute-care NICU experience
- BLS certification
- NRP (Level III NICU experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Pediatric nursing experience
- Prior experience with Neonatal Notes charting
