Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — Travel RN
Lone Tree, CO | Nights | 13-Week Contract
This night shift opportunity (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) places you on a progressive care unit managing a diverse cardiac and medical patient population. The unit handles moderate-to-high acuity cases with a strong cardiac focus.
Clinical Scope
- Cardiac drips and cardiac catheter management
- Chest tube management
- Wound care
- TPN and lipid administration
Unit Details
- Night shift: 1 charge nurse supported by RNs and patient care techs
- Patient assignment: 4–5 patients per nurse
- Self-scheduling options available
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care PCU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiac or ICU background
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHS) certification
