Labor & Delivery RN — Night Shift | Fort Worth, TX
Contract: 17 weeks | Start Date: September 14, 2026
Shift: Nights, 12 hours (1845–0715), including weekends and holidays as needed
About the Role
This night-shift L&D position supports a busy obstetrical unit managing a high volume of cases monthly. The clinical environment covers the full spectrum of obstetrical care, including labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplet care.
Key Responsibilities
- Circulate C-sections (required)
- Provide care across labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplet stages
- Potential to float to Mother/Baby or serve as a sitter task RN on other units
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotation
- Voluntary on-call opportunities available
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current L&D experience
- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
- Current driver's license required with application packet
- Active RN license (Texas or compact)
Required Certifications
- Advanced NRP
- ACLS
- BLS
Travel Compliance
Candidates must submit a current driver's license with their application and meet the 100-mile distance requirement.
This is a strong placement for an experienced L&D nurse comfortable with high-acuity obstetrical cases and the flexibility of float responsibilities across the maternal care service line.
