Cardiac Catheterization Lab – Radiologic Technologist
About the Role
The facility's cardiac catheterization lab is seeking an experienced radiologic technologist to join a skilled procedural team. You'll scrub and assist with a full range of interventional cardiology cases from day one, including cardiac catheterizations, STEMI interventions, electrophysiology procedures (device implants, ablations, Watchman placements), interventional radiology cases (Permcath, fistula), and peripheral angiograms.
What You'll Need
- Current ARRT certification or RCIS with demonstrated cardiac catheterization lab experience
- Proven ability to scrub cardiac cath cases independently; monitoring experience preferred
- Familiarity with IR and EP procedures is a plus
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Flexible, collaborative team player mentality
The Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Hours: 36 per week guaranteed
- Call: Approximately 14–15 call days per month; alternating weekends required
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Float: May be required to support other facility cath labs and partner hospitals as needed
Unit Details
Work alongside a dedicated team in a 4-room cardiac catheterization lab. Standard team composition is 3–4 staff per procedure. Hospital-provided scrubs.
