Registered Nurse

Cardiovascular PCU – Travel RN | Fort Worth, TX

This 13-week contract places you in a cardiovascular/progressive care unit managing intermediate-acuity cardiac patients. The unit performs cardiac catheterizations and cares for post-operative CABG patients, requiring strong cardiovascular assessment and monitoring skills.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
• Cardiovascular experience required

Floating

Float as needed to a sister step-down unit or med-surg floors; reduced patient assignments apply on med-surg units.

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrubs required
• No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Visible piercings limited to ears only; body art should be covered whenever possible

Clinical Focus

Candidates should be comfortable with telemetry monitoring, cardiovascular patient management, and caring for post-surgical cardiac populations at an intermediate acuity level.

Strong cardiovascular background is essential — candidates without this experience will not be considered.
