MRI Technologist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a busy diagnostic imaging department. This is a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Clinical Setting

You'll work in a high-volume MRI department performing approximately 32 exams daily. The night shift team consists of 2 technologists supported by a collaborative, experienced staff. The department operates 3 MRI units, including recently installed advanced imaging technology.

Responsibilities

Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
Administer contrast agents per protocol
Prepare and position patients for imaging studies
Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety standards
Document procedures and findings accurately

Required Qualifications

Minimum 6 months current MRI technologist experience
BLS certification
ARRT (MR) certification

Preferred Experience

GE equipment proficiency
Level 1 trauma or critical care imaging background
