Electrophysiology (EP) Lab — Travel RN | Cedar Rapids, IA
13-Week Contract | Days | 4x9-Hour Shifts | 36 hrs/Week
A hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This position offers a consistent daytime schedule with no on-call and no weekend requirements.
Schedule Details
- 4x9-hour shifts, starting at 0700
- 36 hours per week
- No call, no weekends
- Holiday commitment: 1–2 of the major summer holidays may be required unless the unit is closed
Clinical Scope
You'll work in an active EP lab performing complex cardiac procedures, including:
- Cardiac ablation
- Cardiac rhythm management (CRM)
- Left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
- Drip/titration management including anticoagulation and isuprel
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 24 months of current Electrophysiology/EP experience
- EP-specific skills checklist required at submission
- Experience with cardiac ablation, CRM, and LAAO procedures
- Anticoagulation and isuprel drip/titration experience
- Scrub experience highly preferred
- Active Iowa RN license
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC) — required
- ACLS certification (AHA) — required
- Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, or nurse manager within the past 24 months
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (verified by driver's license)
