MRI Technologist
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for its Radiology department. You'll perform musculoskeletal, neuro, and body imaging for both inpatient and outpatient populations across two locations 16 minutes apart.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts with 7:30 AM start
- Call required every 3rd week: Monday–Friday 5:00 PM–7:30 AM, plus full 24-hour weekend call
- 30-minute response time during call
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 12-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans (approximately 10 studies per day)
- Initiate IVs and draw creatinine as needed
- Float between College Station and Bryan campuses as assigned
- May be asked to precept clinicians as needed
Required Qualifications
- BLS certification (AHA)
- ARRT certification (MR)
- Texas Medical Board (TMB) Medical Radiologic Technologist license
- Minimum 7 years MRI experience
- Hands-on experience with .5T equipment (required)
